2nd graders are working on showing action and movement in their figure representation. We began with a gesture drawing which is a drawing of the action and not the details of the figure.
The students transferred their drawings into a self portrait painting of an action they like to do in the snow....maybe even in the winter olympics
and finally into a sculpture of an action.
